Tarrafal is the Santiago’s equivalent to Cape Town, a holiday getaway for the island locals and a place where the mountains meet the sea offering surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, hiking and mountain-biking, or just chilling out on the white sand beach feet up against a palm tree.
